They&#8217;re sometimes referred to as blood moons, because of the colour the moon becomes as the eclipse takes place.<\/p>\n<p>You;ll need a camera with a fairly long lens (unless you crop later in an image editing program) and a tripod to keep it stable. You also need to set the camera to manual exposure or the moon will be over exposed.
