Used Nikon BR-4 Auto ring has a cable release thread so you can use a cable release or air release to stop the lens down, and a manual lever to do the same. This ring has two uses. 1: to fit on a reversed Nikon lens for auto-aperture or 2: automatic aperture control with Nikon PB-4/PB-5 bellows when the Nikon AR-4 dual cable release is used
