Description
Nikon HN-12 screw thread lens hood for the the old Nikkor Polar filter (polarising). The Nikon Polar has a 52mm thread but opens up to 60mm to ensure no vignetting on a 24mm lens. This unusual hood has a 60mm thread for the front of the Polar and two sections - one with green dot one with white for different focal length groupings. For 35-55mm, screw just the white dot section to the Polar filter. With lenses in the 85-300mm (including the zoom 43-86 and 80-200), attach the white dot part along with the green dot section to the Polar. Hold the ribbed part of the white dot ring while rotating the Polar filter. Genuine manufacturer's item
