Overseas Buyers – Customs & Duties
Import duties and taxes may be incurred on items ordered by buyers outside the UK. These charges occur when package reaches destination. PhotographyAttic is not responsible for these charges and we undertake to make no calculations or estimates.
- International buyers should contact local customs for costs/procedures.
- As buyer you are importer and must ensure purchase complies with import country laws.
- Package may be inspected on arrival for customs purposes and may show signs of tampering.

International Shipping – Duties & Taxes Explained
All prices are in GBP and postage is charged at checkout. Import duties, taxes and customs handling fees are not included in our price and are the buyer's responsibility.
UK buyers: No extra charges – price + postage is final.
EU buyers (from 1 July 2026):
• EU has introduced a temporary flat €3 customs processing fee per item for parcels valued up to €150 shipped from GB to EU.
• This €3 is collected by your local customs/postal service on delivery, in addition to any VAT (typically 19-23% depending on country).
• Orders over €150 may be subject to standard duty rates + VAT.
• We mark all parcels accurately – we cannot mark as gift or lower value.
Rest of World: USA, Australia, Japan etc – duty thresholds vary. USA currently $800 de minimis, Australia AUD $1000. Please check your local rules before ordering.
We ship with accurate customs declarations and include invoice inside parcel. If you are unsure, please contact us before buying.
